Bonnie, Chrissy, and Joe,
I miss my big brother more every day. Today,rather than mourn his passing, I'll celebrate his life. March 24th will always be special, for God gave us one of our greatest gifts on that day. I am deeply saddend to learn about the passing of Mike. I worked with him at ALC from 11/01 until he left. I enjoyed his friendship and his mentoring. He without knowing it encouraged me to grab hold of the important things and keep moving forward. You and your family are in prayers and he will be remembered.

Bonnie and family,
I am really sorry to hear of the passing of Mike. Sometimes life is just not fair. I worked with Mike regularly at American Licorice Company even though he was in Alsip and I was in Bend, Oregon. I work at the Corporate Office as the Accounting Manager so we had many conversations (both work and personal). He was just a fun and knowledgeable guy. I always enjoyed my visits out there. I heard so many great stories and jokes. He will always be in my memories.

Dear Bonnie:
I was deeply saddened by Mike's passing. We had worked together for over 15 years, he in Alsip and I in Union City. Our friendship was more like brothers.
Over those years we talked a lot, laughed a lot and complained a lot. He once told me I was his clone, since we were the same age, married with a daughter and son and we were both accountants. We got along great.
Mike was always telling me his newest joke. We would talk family, kids, sports, or business. He was just a great person.
I know losing a loved one is tragic. But hold on to the belief that although Mike is no longer here physically, spiritually he will always remain in our hearts.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I visited the Alsip plant once, and the humor of Mike and the camaraderie between him and his team was a highlight of my experience there.
