I would like to send my sincere condolences to the Elliott family. Mr. Elliott was very special to me as I worked with him during his illness. I got to know him quite well and he always talked to me about music. May God rest his soul.

I was the contractor who helped Mr. Elliott fix up his house as part of the Cook County Disaster Grant. I did my best to provide a clean and safe place for him live. During that fiasco, he was a major advocate for the people who's funding was disrupted and were left with incomplete projects. The time he spent advocating for others in need of help was selfless and did not go unnoticed. He later went on to help serve the public as FEMA disaster responder, another selfless job. I wont forget him. Respectfully, Jeff Tondola
