News Death Notice

LINVILLE, Frederick L. age 82, of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Heartland of Centerville. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret and his grandson, Bryan Kouns. Fred leaves behind 5 daughters, Cheryl (George) Clouse, Brenda (Mark) Class, both of West Carrollton, Tammy Boisjoli of Sudbury Ontario, Canada, Terri (Darrell) Parker of Gratis, and Tina (Greg) Shope of Jamestown. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Fred was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII and retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. He was also a retired school bus driver from West Carrollton City Schools and was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons, Masonic Lodge of West Carrollton #737. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many friends and family too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2008 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens Chapel, 1639 E. Lytle Five Points Rd., Centerville. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the World War II Processing Center, P.O. I am so sorry to learn of Fred's passing. He was a wonderful companion to my grandma, Mavis Dunn. I remember him being so kind to my family when I was younger. He will be very missed as he was such an exceptional person. My thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.
