Katie,
My name is Kelley Pickett and I graduated from Mt. Assisi Academy in May of 2001. I too lost my father at a young age. I just wanted you to know that if you ever care to talk to someone about it, please feel free to email me. I know that I am more than likly a stranger to you, but sometimes it's easier talking to someone who's gone through the experience before.
Take care and god bless you and your mom,
Kelley

Dear Julie & Katie,
I love you both so much and feel every ache and pain in the loss of Mike. He made me laugh and always had a way of keeping Fred's ear. Fred loved talking to him, because as you know, Fred loves talking just as well - to EVERYONE - you know those Union Guys!! I will miss that Big Goofy Guy and his jokes. That Shamotz (only as Mike could say) left us way too early - I'm going to have a talk with him - in my prayers, of course. You know Fred and I will ALWAYS be here for you -should you need anything at all - just holler. All Our Love and Sympathy, Your Friends,
Mona & Fred

It was a pleasure meeting and getting to know, in a short time, a funny and talkative man. I learned about Diabetes from him. I learned funny (dirty) jokes from him and his brother-in-law Danny. Mike leaves behind a terrific wife and daughter whom we hope to help, if needed. God Bless You.
