Corr, Michael Francis 85, retired CFD. Beloved husband of Geraldine "Jay" Heuer Corr, loving father of Dennis (Charlene) Diemer Corr, Thomas (Corinne) Diemer Corr, Carol Ann and Michael Francis (Lee) Corr, dear son of the late James and Catherine Cassidy Corr, fond brother of Mary Scully and the late Jim, Gene, and Rita, cherished grandfather of Jacob (Melissa), Joseph (Savannah), Daniel, Anne, Michael, Kathryn, Robert and Clare, great-grandfather of Payton. Graduate of St. Patrick's High School in Chicago and St. Anthony's Seminary in San Antonio, Texas. U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. In lieu of flowers, donations to NAMI (National Alliance for Mentally Ill) Advocate for Chicago Read, would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, at Our Lady of Hope Church in Rosemont, from 2 to 6 p.m. Liturgy of the Resurrection at 6 p.m. Interment private. Info Cooney Funeral Home, 847-685-1002.

Dear Jay,
Danny and I were saddened at the news of Mike's passing. What a wonderful man he was. I fondly remember how much fun he and Don Gillespie had when they got together. I know my dad (Charlie Pierce)thought the world of him. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
