Dear Michael,
I often thought how great it would be to drink Guinness with you in Ireland; never quite got to, but at my Uncle Ed's funeral just last year we drank Harp at the White Eagle in Niles, so it'll have to do...for now.
As my godfather and great friend you'll always hold a special place in the hearts of all us Dumelles.
No one who ever met you will ever forget you. We'll miss your smile, your unwavering good spirit, your old soul.
May God continue to bless you and the entire Byrne family.

So much loss in such a short time, please know our thoughts are with you during this time. Uncle Mike was one of the kindest men I ever had the opportunity to know. May our memories guide us until we meet them again. Our love to you all.

If ever there was an example of a life well lived, it is Mike Byrne's. He was a great joy and friend to anyone lucky enough to know him and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to Nadene and family.
