Tony...I got to know Michael during his long stay with us on IMCU in the hospital... I work the day shift and was so happy to know him. He cherished his many years with you, as he talked of you often. The last thing I remember him saying to me was...Tony and I have had a lifetime together of many good years. More than most married couples have had. I wish I had met you. Michael was a wonderful man, and I am so sorry for your loss...So greatful I got to know him as I am sure you have many wonderful memories of your life together..Cherish them, Michael will only ever be just a thought away and ALWAYS in your heart.

Michael was an awesome human being and a fabulous hair designer. He was also a great friend. I treasure the years of our friendship. You did a great job with my hair also!

Michael was an artist, a deeply loving and compassionate friend, family member, and colleague, whose grace touched all who knew him. His faith was inspiring, and I rejoice in knowing he is with his beloved Savior, and finally free from all the discomfort of his last few months. My favorite memory of my dear friend is the way his face would light up when he sang, especially when he lifted his voice praising God. No one who saw that could ever forget it -- his beautiful soul just shone! And speaking of beautiful: Michael did my hair -- made me beautiful -- for 15 years. He was blessed with the talent of being able to see someone's inner beauty, and bring that out. I can never thank him enough. It is no small thing, to put so much beauty into the world -- with his work, his music, his gardening, his faith, and his love. Michael left this world a better place than when he found it. Peace and love, Michael, peace and love.
