Dear Palacios Family,
I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I was at the service and I got to hear Mercedes Poem which really demonstrates the strength and courage that she has and wishes for us to have. I pray that you find the strength to make it through this. I know how you feel as I share a similar journey myself. Please stay strong.

Dear George (Cubita), George Jr., and Tracy;
I am so sorry for your loss, and pray that you find the strength from each other, your large family, and friends to get through this time of sadness. I just want to say that I will always remember Mercy's smile, and kindness. She was the first one to introduce me to salsa music, by taking me and ceci to watch George when he would play his congas, with the group La Confidencia. Even though Ceci and I where younger than her, I always felt welcomed around her. She thought me how to dance salsa, I used to watch her dance and admired her grace and charm. I was honored to be a part of the wedding, I can never forget the great time we had while planning and practicing for the big day. I still have all the pictures, and bring them out once in awhile just to look at them. Mercy may you rest in peace, and you will never be forgotten. George ( Cubita), George jr. and Tracy you are in my prayers and thoughts. God bless.
From an old friend, that shared great times with Mercy and Cubita.
