Dimmel, Melvin Carl late of Henderson, Nevada, passed away August 22, 2003; former longtime resident of the Brighton Park Area, beloved husband of LaVerne (nee O'Brien), loving father of Carl Louis (Kim) Dimmel of Hampstead, Maryland and the late Pamela Ann, devoted son of the late Louis and Adeline Dimmel Lillwitz, dear brother of the late Wilbur, the late Adeline Dimmel-Pollack, the late LaVerne (Ted) Lillwitz-Wittkopp, fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Veteran United States Army WWII. Resting at Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 7901 S. Komensky Ave., Wednesday, from 2 to 9 p.m. Mr. Dimmel will lie in state at Peace Lutheran Church, 4300 S. California Ave., Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to Family Home Hospice, P.O. Box 15645, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89114-5645.
