Melbourne Wallace Obituary

Wallace, Melbourne E. "Bud" Age 81 of Northeast Minneapolis, died Thursday, March 23rd of complications of liver disease and dementia. Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one son-in- law. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Leona; two daughters, Tressa Sularz, Barbara Bellefeuille; son-in-law, Joe Bellefeuille; four grandchildren, Johnny and Andrea Sularz, Mihiret and Bethelhem Bellefeuille; one sister and brother-in-law, Adeline and Bernard Lubbert; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bud was a WWII Veteran. He owned and operated Buds Mobil Service in Northeast Minneapolis, retiring in 1985. A special thanks to the Veterans Hospital, the University Good Samaritan Center and the Hospice of the Twin Cities whose loving care made his last weeks bearable. Thanks also to his neighbors, past and present, who helped him when he faltered and picked him up when he fell. Thanks to Jeff Rosemeyer for his kindnesses. A special thanks to daughter, Barbara, her husband, Joe, Mihiret and Bethlehem who, each in in their own way, brightened Bud's days during his last illness. Mr. Wallace was cremated according to his wishes. Private services were held. There will be no visitation or memorial service. Bud loved people, please remember him with kindness and affection. Uncle Bud was always helpful to me when I moved to the cities after I graduated Mechanic school in Indianapolis I got a job delivering parts in the cities and if I didn't know where something was he could always tell me right where it was and how to get there
