McNair Grant Obituary

I was deeply saddened to hear that Mac passed away. He was like a big brother to me when I was a kid. He was always there when I was hanging out at my Uncle Bert and Aunt Gerry Pratt's house on St. Lawrence. He was always a lot of fun to be around, and his sense of humor and warm personality made everyone who new him love him. He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

We understand your loss because we felt Mac was a member of our family. A son to Mom and Dad and a big brother to me and my sisters.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was Mr. Grant's secretary for many years and we were like family. We would take turns picking up our children's progress reports from Beasley. I want to share our thoughts and prayers with the family of McNair Grant Jr. I knew him only through some places connected with the city of Chicago, and his marriage to Janet, mother of Chloe and Cole.
