My thoughts and prayers are with you--his dear family. I taught 39 years in Baltimore County Schools; the best of those were the ones I spent with Maynard at Dulaney High. He asked me to transfer to Dulaney to start the first dance course in the county. My life-long wish was to teach dance in Baltimore County, so I jumped at the chance. The following years were wonderful. Thank you, Maynard.

My father, Omar Pulliam, and Maynard shared many wonderful experiences while they were working together at Dulaney High School. Although I was very young at the time, I remember Maynard's name being mentioned nearly every day in our home, as my parents talked about their latest shows, students, and plans for the semester. If my father were still with us, he wouldn't hesitate to recount his most cherished memories of his dear friend - a devoted principal and a great person. Know that all of you are in my thoughts as you celebrate the life of a man who brought so much to the lives of so many.

Please accept my deepest sympathy at this difficult time. I had the privilege of being in the first graduating class at Perry Hall High and of having Mr. Keadle as my principal. What a wonderful time that was, and it was because of Mr. Keadle's kind leadership. He seemed to be at every event - games, concerts, plays. He is the reason that Perry Hall High is the school that it is!

In the early days of integration, I couldn't understand the harrassment, name calling and mistreatment just because of the color of my skin. But Mr Keadle made it clear that intolerance was unacceptable whenever he learned of any incidents where black students were treated unfairly. He set the tone for others to follow. Things could have been much worse if not for this kind, brave man who stood up for us when others sat in silence and acceptance of a hostile atmosphere and did nothing.
Thank you Mr Keadle. May you rest in much deserved eternal peace. You will not be forgotten.

Dear Keadle Family- I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of your dad over the years from the numerous sleepovers at Medlow Court, to beach trips (with a switching of drivers at the bridge), and of course my years at Dulaney. "Dr. K" was such a jovial man and I know all of Missy's friends/classmates enjoyed and respected him. Personally, I delighted in his love of Sugar Mamas and other candy, his quirky sense of humor and, most of all, his devilish hyena laugh!
