Silbernik, Max 99, beloved husband of the late Clara (nee Spiegler), loving father of Marty (Marda), cherished grandfather of Kimberly (Bill) Hales and Melanie Silbernik, great-grandfather of Emma Hales, dear brother of Lola (the late Benjamin) Nortman, only surviving sibling of 12 brothers and sisters. Holocaust survivor. Graveside service Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose, Chicago.
