The uncle of my youth in World War II wore the Navy blue, and served as a medical technician. At war’s end I recall he married my aunt, and lived with us all in Grandmother’s house, where we bonded. While still a young man with ambition in hand, he revealed his great talent in art. And, needless to say, he awed this nephew one day with his artistic skill and determination. He carried on a career in commercial art I recall, and proved well his prowess in photography, painting and sculpting. I also recall a plan that he had on the side to exhibit his work in a gallery, hoping someday that such displays would lead to artistic recognition. I moved away hoping some day I would find his artwork receiving deserved public adulation; that his Remington style scultpings would be cast in bronze and capture the public imagination. Sadly, that all seemed to pass for reasons not known, but the halt followed my aunts untimely passing. I know that in heaven somewhere uncle Moe will be there getting back to artistic creation. With aunt Eda at his side, his talent will shine; and he’ll take those delayed plans to completion. Deeply saddened as I am my thoughts must end with one final salutation. Uncle Moe, please hear, there are many still here who hold you dear as I do and like me celebrate your life and are bereaved by your untimely passing. Rest in peace.

We had wished we could of had more time. To see you, to enjoy you, to hear your viewpoints and discuss the many memories of times gone by. We are all here for such a short time and that is why that time escapes us. We wish you a blessed journey to the new beginning you will have. We will look forward to that time that we can once again be with you. Go with God & live forever as has been promised.
