The "Celebration of Your Life" has just begun. I am there with you, I can hear the words, I can feel the stillness and pain in your family's hearts. For my heart is aching with theirs. My life was so much better because of you. It seemed like we were connected at the hip for many, many years. We were best friends. Life took us in different directions and that togetherness wained. However, my heart was still with you and always will be. I told you this and I will say it again; never was before and definitely not after, a best buddy like you. I make you this promise, my dear friend, I will always be there for your Dean, Missy and Brock, for I love them as my own. Am I rambling, Mo? It's because I am writing through my tears. We will meet again someday...Shanghai Rummy, spaghetti, or the mall. You name it!! Sleep peacefully, sweet friend. I loved you then and now and forever.

You will see her when the sun warms your face, the wind blows your hair, the smile on your children's faces, the love you give your family, and the kindness you show to others. She will always be with you.

Dear Jerry , Brock and Missy
Deepest Sympathy over the loss of Dearest Auntie Mo . One everlasting memory we have hear in Wales is that Mo was able to share in the joy of our beloved Twins' Christening , We have that recorded in A photogragh in our Hall way .Our deepest regret is that she will not be able to see them grow up and have any more conversations with them on the phone , they loved their chats and still ask about her . She had a very generous heart , Glenda and allan would always return home from America with cases laiden with gifts for Alice and Harry with their great auntie Mo . She fought her illness with great spirit and determination and to the end remained resolute .Her passing will leave a huge void both in the Hunter and Hearne family , She will be greatly missed , however her memory and love of life both in Wales and America will live on .Love from Joanne , Neil , Alice and Harry

We started off as two mothers talking on the phone and looking for our mischievous sons. When she came to HHS, Mo worked her job, but would do odd jobs for the secretaries. Our friendship grew from there. We were still talking on the phone, but it was about grandchildren, shopping, dinner and vacation plans, etc. Her generosity, strength of spirit and love of family and friends has enriched my life. I will miss my best friend.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family.

I will never forget her great sense of humor, love of life, and boy did she love her grandkids. She had a great love for her God and is now with him.

As i look back, it seems like you were always there in my life. From babysitting me back in the Lincoln Street days, to keeping me out of trouble (or at least trying to) in high school. Not a day goes by where I don't hear or see something that reminds me of you. You will be greatly missed.

Dear Missy and Family,
One of my fondest memories of your Mom was one you both were a part of....She had told you to do something before work (at supervisors club) and you rolled your eyes/ as your Mom stood behind you; she rolled her eyes! :)
May God surround your entire family with love and guidance at this most difficult time.

I was fortunate enough to know Maureen inside of the school she worked at but also as a young child hanging out with my best friend while she was with hers. Maureen was a wonderful woman. Words cannot explain the sorrow I feel for her family. My prayers and thoughts are with all of her family and friends! May she rest in peace. She will be missed dearly by many!

"Oh, Mrs. Hunter....." were words heard lovingly throughout Hobart High School's hallways during the years Maureen lighted our lives there. Even if she had to reprimand a student, the kids KNEW it was with love that she spoke. Being from Wales, she was always adamant that the students recognized not only the right, but also the responsibility, of being an American citizen. The twinkle in her eye was only eclipsed by the red of her hair. She was sorely missed when she left HHS [and not only for her cinnamon rolls!] and will now be even more missed by her friends and family. She was joy personified. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Sincerely,
