Mattie Yates Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Yates, and her son, Jessie Samuel Yates.
She is survived by her children, Roberta L. Kroll and her husband, Ron, Jack Yates and his wife, Millie, James Yates and his wife, Christina, and Betty Ritter and her husband, Duane; and many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
