I loved both Matt and Rose they were charming interesting neighbors and I was delighted to have seen Matts art work from day one. He had a real passion and instant dedication to his art. I was thrilled to see it develop to the extent that it did. Some people come into our lives for a short time but leave an indelible mark every member of this family that I met did just that Im grateful to have known you

Dear Rose and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Matt. He was a good man and loved by many. My John passed away on October 18, 2011; just four months before Matt, so I know it is not an easy time for you. My loss is still very fresh so all we can do is pray to John and Matt and remind them to take care of us until we meet some day in Heaven. God Bless,

Although happy for Mr. Lamb seeing God and being in total loving happiness/ peace, I am very sorry he couldn't have been here longer with all of you. He as is his whole family is one of the kindest and most generous families I've been blessed to know. Mr. Lamb's greatest accomplishment as is Mrs. Lamb's is how great of parents they are. Because of them, their children, grandchildren and so on will bless this earth, bringing love and peace to so many. Thank you Mr. Lamb for being the wonderful, loving and generous person you are. I'm sorry that I and my family just heard of your passing into heaven or we would have been there this past Sunday and Monday. My dad and mom just heard and told me. My heart breaks for all of you that you miss him. Enjoy each other that are still here on earth, you will see your husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend (Mr. Lamb) soon. When you join him in heaven it will be only seconds to him since the last time he was with you. I love you very much Sheila!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you, your dad and your entire family!! xoxoxoxo Sherrie

I am someone who knew Mr.Lamb since I can remember when the Lambs lived in St. Catherine of Alexandria. They were friends of my parents, Tom and Helen, over many years. Because of this knowing, we turned towards the Lamb Family Funeral Home on 103rd in Oak Lawn when our first baby died -only 19 days after her birth.........40 years ago next month on Easter Sunday. Matt went to University of Chicago to pick her up on this Sunday and helped us through many of the steps needed to bring her to Church. He did this personally and spent some time with us with this overwhelming terrible loss. Today, we have an additional seven children but we will always remember Matt and his kindness. Our family always felt the same. He will be missed and welcomed by all of us who cared about him. We say,"thanks."
