Dear Mrs. Z,
I met you when you moved to Cape Coral through your daughter Debs. Debs and I worked together and became good friends. When you moved back to IL, you said to me, take good care of my Debs. I enjoyed our exchange of Christmas cards throughout the years and every now and then a birthday card too. I miss sending you a card, but you're still on my list. It's a nice time to reflect back on the conversations we had. Deb was always very proud of you and loved you very much. She was your #1 fan.
Peace be with you,

Debbie Zenaty-Paulson

Dear G.G,
I love you. Iwish the best for you up there. I pray every night with one of your crosses. I didn't get to say good bye to you in person, but I say it every night in the cross. If your looking down at me i've been trying my best in school, but sometimes i do get a little off track. I know you might like it up there because you don't have to go through all of that pain that you had. For anything even if it was just a minute I would do it just to say goodbye. Also to be the one to give you your last hug and kiss. I'm definetly positive Kelly thinks most of the stuff i'm saying here.I just wish we could start over fix all of the problems that had been wrong and start fresh.I love you for eternity and I always will.I hope for the best for you up there in heaven. I want you to know I miss you so much.I get to help clean out your room so that will bring back all of our shared memories atleast I hope so. I wish things could change. Nothings the same without you and I mean ,nothing.

Love your granddaughter, Christina

Mom< This sediment is for you. I loved you dearly. I will remember all the good times we had. We talked on the phone for hours sometimes, I will miss doing that. We also had our share of differences, buy hey who doesn't. I think about you now and always will. Please say hello to Denise, and tell her how much I love and miss her. Dad too, and Kenny Jr. Remember how we use to say that if there really was life after that we would find a way to connect. Please connect, and tell Denise too. I love you Mom, and I will always miss you. All of us will be ok. You know we quibble, but I think we all love each other, and if needed will be there for each other. I hate saying good-bye. Christina misses you and loves you. I'm glad your not suffering any more. Hey, your 30 again free from any hurts or diseases. Love you Mom Love always, Denise

MY MOM

MARY “MOM” ZENATY, THAT IS HOW I ADDRESSED THE LETTERS THAT I WROTE TO HER. MOM TOLD ME TO NEVER FORGET THAT SHE LOVED ME VERY MUCH. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU MOM. MOM TOLD ME THAT WHEN I WAS BORN, THE FIRST THING SHE SAW WAS MY BLUE EYES. I WAS HER FIRST CHILD, A LITTLE GIRL.
MOM, MY MOM I LOVE YOU. ALL YOUR LIFE, YOU LOVED ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN, EVEN THOUGH WE BICKERED ENDLESSLY. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU WORRIED ABOUT US. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU LOVED US AND WILL CONTINUE TO LOVE US IN HEAVEN.
MY MOM TAUGHT ME TO USE MY COMMON SENSE. I ALWAYS LISTENED TO YOU MOM. IN HIGH SCHOOL, WHEN WE HAD TO TAKE SHOWERS IN GYM CLASS, YOU TOLD ME TO WEAR MY FLIP FLOPS SO I WOULDN’T SLIP AND FALL, AND A SHOWER CAP SO MY HAIR WOULD NOT GET WET. I WAS THE ONLY KID THAT DID, AND WAS MADE FUN OF. I WAS CALLED “SHOWER CAP KID.” BUT BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME, IT DIDN’T MATTER WHAT ANY ONE ELSE CALLED ME. YOU TAUGHT ME TO OVERCOME PEER PRESSURE. THAT IS WHY I DO NOT SMOKE, DRINK, OR DO DRUGS. MY TEETH ARE STRAIGHT AND I HAVE NO CAVITIES BECAUSE YOU TAUGHT ME THE RIGHT WAY TO BRUSH MY TEETH AND NOT TO EAT ALL THAT CANDY. ALSO, WE DRANK MILK AT DINNER TIME, NOT PEPSI.
MOM, MY MOM, I LOVE YOU. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU TOOK CARE OF ME. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU WORRIED ABOUT ME. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU LOVED ME. YOU WANTED ME TO BE HAPPY.
MOM, YOU ARE AT PEACE WITH DAD, UNCLE PETE, UNCLE MIKE, UNCLE ROBERT, UNCLE GEORGE, UNCLE JOHN, AUNTIE ANNE, YOUR MOM AND DAD, LITTLE KEN, LITTLE DENISE, AND EVEN MY PETE, YOU ARE ALL TOGETHER AGAIN, LIKE IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE. YOU ARE WITH THE GOOD LORD, AND NOW YOU ARE AT PEACE.
MOM, YOU CALLED ME DEBS ON THE PHONE AND IN YOUR LETTERS THAT YOU WROTE. DEBORAH ANN, I LOVE THE NAME YOU GAVE TO ME. I REMEMBER AT CHRISTMAS, YOU WOULD ASK WHAT WE WANTED FOR CHRISTMAS. I NEVER GAVE AN ANSWER, OR I SAID NOTHING, BECAUSE I WANTED TO BE SURPRIZED. IT DID NOT MATTER TO ME WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS, AND ONE YEAR, YOU AND DAD HANDED ME A BOX THAT WAS WRAPPED VERY PRETTY, AND I OPENED IT AND WRITTEN INSIDE OF THE BOX WERE THE WORDS “NOTHING”. AND THAT WAS ABOUT 40 YEARS AGO. I STILL HAVE THAT GIFT AND IT WAS THE BEST GIFT I EVER RECEIVED. IT LET ME KNOW THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD ME. I WILL ALWAYS BE A KID AT HEART.
CHRISTOPHER, DANIELLE, LITTLE DENISE, CHERI, KELLY, CHRISTINA AND JOSEPH GRAM LOVED YOU GUYS. JOEY, GRAM GOT TO SEE YOU EVERYDAY AND IT MADE HER DAY BRIGHTER. SHE SAID THAT YOU WERE A SMART LITTLE BOY. CHRISTINA, GRAM TOLD ME THAT YOU HAD COME OVER TO VISIT AND HELPED HER STRAIGHTEN OUT SOME OF HER THINGS. AND, SHE TOLD ME HOW GROWN UP YOU ARE BECOMING. CHRISTOPHER, DANIELLE, CHERI, YOU ARE GOOD KIDS, SHE SAID.
KELLY YOU ARE A VERY SMART LITTLE GIRL AND ADORABLE.
DENISE, DIANE AND ED, DO YOU REMEMBER “YA, MA CHESKANAGEE”? I HAVE CLEAN FEET. THAT WAS IN HER CHEZK LANGUAGE. I ASKED MOM HOW YOU SAID I LOVE YOU, SHE TOLD ME “YA-LUBA-CHA”.
MOM, I LOVE YOU. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU TOOK CARE OF ME. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU WORRIED ABOUT ME. ALL YOUR LIFE YOU LOVED ME. YOU WANTED ME TO BE HAPPY. MOM, YA-LUBA-CHA.

WITH ALL MY LOVE,
YOUR DEBS
