I had the utmost honor and pleasure of giving Aunt Mary Louise and Uncle Andrew a tour of the Chicago Botanic Garden with Eloise and Blu Putnam in 2016. Then Aunt Mary Louise and Uncle Andrew came back a month later with three of their special friends, and we had such fun! Their appreciation of the Garden was wonderful, and they had great questions. What an inspirational, kind, and lovely couple. Eloise, thank you for the gift of their friendship. I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Mary Louise.

I celebrate the fact that now I have a guardian angel in heaven. As the days and weeks have passed, I realize that I have the support and love of friends and family. I will miss the love and embrace of my sister, Mary Louise.

Aunt Mary was an inspiration to me. She was always the ultimate teacher. She was always well versed and could make you laugh, just the way she said things. I will miss her very much.

Mary & Andrew have always been a loving couple & a very close relative & friend to both my late husband: Thomas A. Tillery, Jr. & me. Mary will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed their visits, talks, & shared words of wisdom, both in person & by phone. God knows best for us all. Rest in peace Mary, we loved you. Greatly missed.

Mary Louise was a light in all our lives ...she is smiling down on all of us now from Heaven. I still hear her favorite saying, I'm working on it ... missing her ...

I neglected to add that Aunt Marylouise and Uncle Andrew were a most handsome and very loving couple. Their bond and care for each other was truly inspirational and wonderful to witness.
