Mary Skwarek Obituary

It is amazing how quickly years pass and the next we hear of past friends is of their passing. Mary Ann and I were friends in high school. I remember fondly visiting Mary Ann at the family restaurant at the bowling alley - she had to work and we were just hanging out. Friends were always welcomed. Last time I saw her was at our 30 year reunion. She has a special place in my memory. A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam.
And for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong
to our world
But then it flies on again,
and though we wish it could have stayed,
we feel so lucky to have seen it

Ron and I became friends and associates right after college starting at Arthur Andersen & Co. Iris & I were friends of both Mary Ann and Ron at that time and we hold fond memories of things we did together in those early days. Iris & I later moved to Indiana.

We are so sorry to learn about Mary Ann's passing and express our deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

I only knew your Mother for a short period of time but we did form a bond. When she first moved in she would look for me in the mornings and call me her friend. We shared lots of laughs and a few tears when we talked about her health and all the things she missed. She always spoke lovingly of her family and friends. But, she was tired an ready to go to home to heaven and for that I am thankful that she is at peace. Thank you for sharing her with us.
