Mary Simich Obituary

Ron,Ricky,Beth and Robert I have been thinking about Mary many time over the past few years and tried to find her. I enjoyed being her assistant Brownie leader, she was a great friend and I will miss her. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers

May the memories of the wonderful times you shared, comfort you and your family today and always.

When I first met Mary, we hit it off well. She and I were both Packers fans, as well as enjoyed re-enacting, so we had a lot to chit-chat about. She always brought a smile to my face, and she always had a way of finding the positive in things, even when times were tough. I admired her love and committment to her family - it was an inspiration. Even though she is not here on this plane of existence, I feel that she will always be with us.

From the moment when I first met Mary, I knew she would have a place in my heart forever. She was always so sweet & caring. I'm honored my newborn daughter had a chance to experience her kindness. I will miss joking with her especially about her Packers. Lauzun Legion

I was very saddened to hear the news of Mary's passing. I truly loved seeing her smiling face at the reenactments, and sewing days at Miss Judith. She will truly be missed. My prayers continue to go out to Beth and the rest of the family and friends.

When I first met Mary about a year ago re-enacting I always appreciated her help and support. She was always very caring and friendly to me. She will be greatly missed.

When Mary joined our group a few years ago, I immediately liked her. I will never forget her caring honesty and support. Her brightness will be missed by all in our unit.
Lauzun's Legion

We will remember our times with Mary watching Bears/Packers games at the Legion .She definatly was a true Packer fan in IL.

Mary joined our Rev War group Lauzun's Legion about 6-7 years ago and immediately became a friend. I will miss her laughter and her sense of humor and her generosity. She was a gem to be cherished and will be greatly missed.

Mary was very helpful my first weekend reenacting with 2nd KY. She said,"If you need anything, I'm just a couple of tents away" Even though I couldn't
see her, I knew she was there for me. As now, I may not be able to see her but I know where she is. My heart is with you all.

Mary was the salt of the earth and a dear friend and has gone to a far better place...

Mary was a fine lady with a heart that made us smile. She was a light that shown us the way. We will miss her.

She always had a smile. She could always make you laugh. She always had a listening ear and offered help when she could. The heavens has another star to shine brightly above us. But her company will always be missed here on earth by those who loved her and were her friends. She will always be remembered. We wish you peace, happiness, and safe passage to what lies beyond.

My heart aches for you in this your time of great sorrow. I did not know Mary long, but I had grown to love her. My sincerest condolences to the family.
