Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Mary Ann was such a kind and pleasant neighbor. She truly loved her children and will be missed but remembered. Please take comfort to know that God has welcomed this angel into HIS heavenly kingdom. We pray that you are provided with strength to endure this tragic loss.

Dearest Schmitz Family, I am greatly saddened to hear of the tragic loss of Mary Ann. My deepest condolences go to your family at this most incredibly difficult time. I have the fondest memories of living next to the Schmitz’s for all those years and enjoying your hospitality for the many years after that. The Schmitz’s were the coolest family in the neighborhood and spending time at your home was always the most fun. I remember Mary Ann from when she was just a toddler being one of the “little kids” around with us “big kids” on Glenlake Avenue. It’s very sad she’s gone, and I’ll remember her fondly. Again, please accept my deepest condolences on this tragic loss. Sincerely.
Sharon

Dearest Schmitz Family, Robbie, Shane and Kelly:
May you find peace in knowing your love ones are with our Lord and Savior. My family and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to your entire family. We will continue to pray your hearts will become lighter and filled with the love you shared between one another.
Mary Ann, I (Sharon) will truly miss our "bus buddy talks" and Kassidy, thank you for the traditional African dance at the International dinner, it was a great night and your big bright smile illuminated the stage. Toyin and I had so much fun with you in dance rehearsals. Jeremy I know your talents are shining down on us.
Kelly and Mrs. Schmitz, we are right down the street, if you need our help with anything please don’t hesitate to ask.
The Osinaike family: Sharon, Toks, Cynerick, Kenrick, and Cynedra.

I remember Mary Ann as always being positive, supportive. I knew her through telephone conversations during work; we never met. Even on the telephone, she made a lasting impression. My condolences go to her family, her friends. Especially her children. May God be with you, my prayers are.

I will never forget my very first friend and best friend all through grammar school, Mary Ann Schmitz. We met at the age of 3 in Sunday School and were inseparable throughout our childhood. Over the years, we still kept in touch and she will be dearly missed. My heart goes out to the Schmitz family. Shane and Robbie had the best mom around and hopefully all the wonderful memories of your Mom and Jeremy and Kassidy will someday comfort you.You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Mary Ann Schmitz was a wonderful person and will always be remembered.
