Denyce and Marcie,
It was a delight to know your Mom. We admired her strength through the tough times and enjoyed her signature sense of humor in whatever life situation she was in.
Please accept our sympathies in the loss of your dear mother.

Denyce & Marcie, what wonderful memories I have of the quintessential QUEEN. I'll forever be thankful for our visit with her this past February. The world has lost a truly great lady, but her memory will live in our hearts forever. Even though miles have separated us for a lot of years, the heartstrings of love will never be broken. All of the family will continue to be in our thoughts & prayers. We love you.

May you find comfort in each other at this time. May you find peace in knowing your beautiful mother is in the Lord's Loving Care. Our sympathy, love and prayers are with you all.

Denyce and Marcie, your mother was a beautiful woman, inside and out. I will never forget her graciousness, her smile or her sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Smolik and Ohrt families. May peace be with you and know that Mary Ann touched many lives.

Marcie & Denyce......My thoughts and prayers are with you as I have learned of "Mom Ohrt's" passing. There are many fond memories to keep as she was a wonderful person. My sympathy to the family.

Farewell to the "Queen" with loving sympathy to all her family. Mary was such a fun and beautiful part of our lives many years ago and has remained so special in our visits and memories since we left the Victoria area. She could still make us laugh even when she no longer knew us.

Denyce and Marcie....what wonderful memories I have of the times our families spent together. I love all of you dearly and am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother. Our visit with her in February was such a blessing. Another bright star now shines in heaven....we will miss her always. Our prayers are with you and yours now and in the days to come.

I truly enjoyed being a part of Mary's life, even if it wasn't until the last few years. Her smile was contagious and always brightened my day. I will really miss seeing her beautiful face and sparkling eyes when I walk into Dover House. My thoughts and prayers are with your family!!

you were only in my life the last two years of your life, but you managed to make them very exciting and you made it to my heart. I will never forget you Mary Ohrt.

I'm saddened to hear the lost of the lovely Mrs. Ohrt. She was such a sweet lady and a customer of Siesta Restaurant and Maggie's Restaurant & Meat Market. I still recall that she would call every Sunday to place her turkey plate with extra cranberry. The last time I saw this remarkable and always well dress, beautiful smiling face is when my mother and she were at the same nursing facility. May she be at peace.

The recent passing of your mom has saddened us all. No one can take her place, and only one whom has encountered a similar loss can understand the grief that you are experiencing. Although sympathy is only a small consolation, even from the hearts of so many who share your sorrow, I wish to extend my sincere condolences. There is no question that the world is a better place because of the life that Mary lived, and all the many lives she touched along the way. Helen Keller once said that, “What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. And, all that we love deeply becomes a part of us forever.” I will always remember my lifelong friend. Mary Ohrt; a classy smart dressed lady, a kind generous woman, a true friend, an honorary mother to me.
