Morehead, Mary born in Rosenberg, Texas, on May 27, 1917, born into eternity on January 15, 2005 in Lithonia, Georgia was best known, to her friends and family as Mary "May" "Ma " or "Mama". Mary was a very outspoken woman, she always said what was on her mind. Sometimes what she said was so direct and blunt it was hilarious, although it might have seemed offensive, you had to laugh. Although she did not have a professional occupation she wore many hats while raising twelve daughters, and 37 grandchildren making her life very fulfilled. Mary was the backbone of her family, she was honest, straightforward, funny, dedicated, loving, had a good heart but yet stern. She truly was the apple of her daughters eye. Mary was a beautiful, warm hearted woman who had a strong love for animals, especially her cats Cindy and "ChaCha". Mary Morehead (maiden name: Galvan), 87 years young, at rest Saturday, January 15, 2005. To Candice "My Sister", Auntie Dawn & Family
My thoughts and Prayers go out to you all. Losing a grandmother of my own makes me know and understand what you all might be going through. Stay strong and know that she lived a wonderful life & to live to be 87 years old is TRULY A BLESSING. God always knows what's best and just know that she is now with her "HEAVENLY FATHER" and will forever be your "GUARDIAN ANGEL". I love you both dearly as a friend and co-worker. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Love Nyoka & Khari Jr.
