Mary Kay was my classmate at Mount St. Scholastica College in Atchison, KS our freshman year. Although she left Atchison after only one year, she was always extremely generous both to the college and to the Sisters at Mount St. Scholastica. I admired and appreciated her, especially when we served together on the Benedictine College Board of Directors, and will keep her in my prayers.

"Aunt" Mary Kay is one of the most generous, and genuine, people I've been so fortunate to meet. I hope your wonderful memories will help you in your time of sorrow, and keep you company for the rest of your lives.

I am one of the women who received a scholarship to Benedictine College from Mrs. McAllister. I would not be the person I am today or have the opportunities I do if it weren't for her generosity. I am eternally grateful for her kindness. Mrs. McAllister and her family will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.
