Mary Markovic Obituary
Mary Markovic, age 71, of Park Ridge, IL, passed away at her home on September 10, 2025. Born on May 29, 1954, in Chicago, IL, Mary had been a long-time resident of Park Ridge for 26 years. Beloved daughter of the late Marko and Zorka Borkovich. Devoted wife of the late Ratomir "Rudy" Markovic, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage until his passing in 2022. Loving mother of Alexander Markovic (Cristina Ocon) and Stefanija Markovic. Cherished grandmother of Ixchel Jana Markovic-Ocon. Dear sister of Milena Katanic, Danica Anderson, and the late Nada Kluk and Milenko Borkovich. Mary will be remembered for her deep love for her family, her enduring strength, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Visitation Friday, September 19, 2025 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL 60030. Relatives and friends will meet Saturday morning at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 5701 N. Redwood Dr., Chicago, IL 60631 for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service.
