Mary Lukowski Obituary

Lukowski, Sr. Mary Annuntiata Sr. Mary Annuntiata, age 87, of the Holy Angels, PCC died Monday, March 3, 2014 in Minooka. Born Frances Lukowski on July 31, 1926 in Chicago, she was the last of their seven children who included the late Anthony, Bernard, and Florian Lukowski, Marie (late Edward) Kaminski, Julia (late Rudolph) Struzch and Helen (late Frank) Liebner. Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and her religious Sisters at Annunciation Monastery in Minooka She was an Extern Poor Clare Colettine nun, entering and taking her vows in the Perpetual Adoration Monastery on Laflin Street in Chicago, before the community moved to her new monastery in Hickory Hills. She studied at St. Bronislavea School and Brown High School, and graduated from Loretto Academy, in Woodlawn. Funeral Services for Sr. Annuntiata will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Annunciation Monastery, 6200 E. Minooka Rd., Minooka, IL at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Monastery Cemetery. Memorials to Annunciation Monastery would be appreciated. Visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2014 at Annunciation Monastery from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m., and Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
