Mary S. Lichtenstein, nee Sepelia, 88, Dec. 29, 2024, of Evergreen Park, dearly beloved wife of the late Lawrence M. Lichtenstein; loving mother of Lynn M. (John V.) Kallianis; devoted, adoring grandmother of Emma and Olivia Kallianis; special cousin of Ben, Mary Ann, Nicholas, and the late John Ferreri; preceded in death by parents Frank J. and Rose Caldorera Sepelia, brothers Joseph and Bernard Sepelia, and parents by marriage, Clarence and Mae Brennan Lichtenstein.

Mary was a faithful parishioner of St. Bernadette Parish for over fifty years. Mary originally worked for ComEd, then was the bookkeeper for Lichtenstein Waste Oil, later worked for Menu-Mart Foods in Evergreen Park, and for many years in Human Resources with the Internal Revenue Service.

Visitation Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, at St. Gianna Church, 3550 W. 103rd St., Evergreen Park, IL, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

You were the sunshine of the Thanksgiving Dinner. I am so glad that we could spend this Thanksgiving together. I don't know who I will talk to about all the British Murder Mysteries on Acorn TV. I am so sorry that I can't attend you funeral services.
