Mary Kuhn Obituary

Kuhn, Mary Kay on Wednesday, December 1, 2005 Mary Kay Kuhn passed away from this world while surrounded by lifetime friends. Born in Topeka, Kansas, Mary Kay moved to Chicago in 1956 and held the position of buyer for Specialty House Company. Shortly there after she became an active member for the Democratic Party and did volunteer work for the 42nd Ward. She held the position of Precinct Captain for many years where she was able to preform community service. Known for her stylish dress especially her wonderful hats she was immediately recognized by most who lived in the 42nd Ward. Mary Kay retired from the Cook County Highway Department where she held the position of Records Administrator. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Carolyn and Elizabeth; two brothers, Paul and Joseph; mother, Maude and father, Fred; she is survived by a nephew, Lester Lifsey and great nephew Tony Lifsey. Memorial service Sunday, December 5th, at 3 p.m. at 1130 N. Dearborn.In lieu of flowers, donations made in Mary Kay' name to Holy Name Cathedral.
