I just found the message about Mary Anns passing. I am so sorry to hear that this wonderful lady has left this earth. She made a huge impact on my life when I was a nursing student at Loyla University of Chicago. She helped me through a challenging time and also was instrumental in my choice of nursing specialty. She supported my choice to become an oncology nurse and later an oncology clinical nurse speciaist. I tried to role model her teaching approach when I became a nursing faculty member after earning my MSN and later PhD. She was a wonderful lady, and I mourn her passing. Rest well dear lady!

I was a student of Ms. Krol, studying Anatomy and Physiology @ Alvernia(class of 71). I, also, visited her many times in the Nurses Office. She was a good teacher and a caring nurse. She was such a good role model-I became a RN. Prayers of comfort for her family and friends. Eternal rest grant unto her.
