Mary Hutchings Obituary
Hutchings, Mary Jo aged 88, of Crystal Lake, Illinois passed on Thursday, July 31, 2008. Beloved wife of LeRoi Hutchings, devoted mother of Mary Hutchings Reed (William R.) and Donna Steele (R. Tod), loving grandmother of Amy, Sarah, and Peter Steele. Director, Mt. Prospect Public Library, 1966-1981. Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 6th, at St. Thomas the Apostle, 453 Pierson, Crystal Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted by the Mt. Prospect Public Library or the Freedom to Read Foundation of the American Library Association. Arrangements by: Cremation Society of Illinois, 773-281-5058.

Although we knew Mary Jo very briefly; I was glad that we had the wonderful opportunity to meet her family as it was through you all we saw just what a remarkable woman Mary Jo was. Please accept my sympathies on your loss.

Hello Hutchings,
I am so sorry for your lost. I still remember when my Mom Margaret Turris work at the library and Mary Jo Hutchins was here boss. Mary Jo Hutchings was such a nice boss to my Mom Margaret Turrisi. And she was always nice to me to.
