Mary Hixenbaugh Obituary

Hixenbaugh, Mary J. (nee Cummings), age 75, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005, late of Chicago, a long time supporter of the Pacific Garden Mission of Chicago. Beloved mother of Edward (Marla) O'Brien, loving sister of Jean Worley and Bill (Charlotte) Cummings, devoted grandmother of Tami (Ron) Unger, Patricia (Don) Simpson, Eddie O'Brien Jr., M. Colleen O'Brien, Jeanine O'Brien and Lora O'Brien, cherished great-grandmother of Ronnie, Mark, Melissa, Billy, Michael, Emily, Donny, Elizabeth and Samuel. Preceded in death by her husband, William Hixenbaugh, her parents, William and Anna Mae Cummings, also a brother, Lee Cummings and two sisters, Von Heilman and Joan Horton. Her remains will lie-in-state Friday, from 4 to 9 p.m., at the Bible Baptist Church GARBC, 301 Normantown Rd., in Romeoville. Service Saturday, December 3, 2005, 10 a.m., at the church. Interment Chapel Hill Garden South Cemetery in Oak Lawn. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Southside Baptist School in Oak Lawn preferred. Services handled by: Anderson Memorial Chapel, in Romeoville, 815-886-2323.
