Mary Hall Obituary

Mary Julia Blewster Hall passed away peacefully at her home in Jemison, Alabama, on April 14, 2021. Mrs. Hall was a member of Jemison First Baptist Church for over seventy years. She was a graduate of Jemison High School, Alabama College (University of Montevallo) and Troy University at Montgomery. She was retired from the Chilton County Board of Education where she enjoyed a forty plus year career. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Robert Hall, Jr., and her parents Alfred Collier Blewster and Amy Jean Samons Blewster. She is survived by her three children Dr. Rex Hall (Lisa), Vicki Martin and Jill Lee (the late Matthew Lee). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Mitch Martin (Alicia), Max Martin, Griff Hall, Bailey Hall, Parker Hall, Carson Hall, Morganne Lee, Hale Lee and Madelyn Lee as well as three great grandchildren, Andrew, Riley and Kinsley. Mrs. Hall loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her friends including her two very dear friends and caregivers, Sharon Henderson and Judy Cleckler. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021, at First Baptist Church, Jemison, Alabama. All family and friends are welcome.
