Mary Guth Obituary

Mary's strength and faith were inspiring. She will be missed dearly. She now laughs with God, Joan, and all the saints.

Mary,
I shall miss your visits to Colorado, our gatherings in Chicago, our ventures to Italy. Most of all, I shall miss just being with you. There is no doubt in my mind we shall all be together again. May you experience all the beautiful wonders that God has planned for you.

To the Guths - I stumbled across the notice of Mary's passing in the paper and that's how I learned Joanie is gone too??? I am stunned by this double loss. Mary and Joanie were smart funny people. They have starring roles in some of my best stories. My condolences to all the Guths . . .

We are so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. This really has been a tough year. Mary always brought joy, happiness and a lot of laughter between our families. We are going to miss her terribly. I can see her with Joan, Gram, Anthony and all who have gone before us. I look forward to the day will all be together again. Wow what a bash that will be. Our condolescenses are with you all. dear loved ones of Marry, A woman who took care of me when i was a child, then had the pleasure of working side by side with her for my father, Roger McGuire, 17 years ago at the Chicago Board of trade. She is and will all ways be, perfection in my heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Whenever my sons, Luke and Brian McGuire would go to the BOT with their father, I knew they were in good hands because Mary would take care of them. It didn't stop there, as they grew older, Mary became their friend. I want to say, "Thank you" to Mary. And I am truly sorry for your loss.

Dear Fritz and all your family: I am extremely sorry to hear about Mary's passing. I have nothing but good memories of her around the corn pit in all the years we worked together down at the CBOT. My sympathy goes out to the entire Guth family. She will be missed dearly.

Mary, Cathy and Fritz were some of the first people I met when I first started working at The CBOT in 1981. You 3 were/are one of the reasons I stayed for 28 years. I will always remember Mary for the love and kindness, she always had time to share with me. I miss seeing her smiling face first thing in the morning. Know that she will be missed by many, and that we will never forget her.

I always enjoyed running into Mary in the Ceres restaurant or lobby area. We'd catch up a little bit and the last few times she said she'd like to go back to school for nursing and try to get out of the securities business. I'm sorry for Peter,Kathy and Dan's loss and the rest of her family too. She was a sweet heart.
