Grzenia, Mary Ann (nee Beczek) 83, of Chicago, IL passed away at home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Mary Ann was born on March 21, 1934 in Chicago and was a graduate of St. Barbara's High School. Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Karen Rediger and husband Ron of St. Charles, IL and Donna Jones and husband Ron of Chicago, IL; son, Steve Grzenia and wife Mary Lou of Batavia, IL; grandchildren, Katy (Rediger) Parsons and husband Brian of Elgin, IL, Dan Rediger and wife Addie of St. Charles, IL, Kelly (Jones) Craven and husband Rob of Oak Lawn, IL, Kristie Jones and fiancé Calvin Blazys of Joliet, IL, Allie Jones, Paige Grzenia and Kaylee Grzenia. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert S. Grzenia and Edward Waclawek; her parents, John and Frances Beczek; brothers, Joseph and Fred Beczek and nephew, Kevin Beczek. Mary Ann was a longtime parishioner of St. Gall Church in Chicago. After raising her family, she worked as a bookkeeper in the trucking and construction industries. Later in life, Mary Ann loved simple pleasures such as visiting with family and her cherished caregiver Stattina Horace, reading and making sure the birds in her backyard were well fed.
