I knew Kixie since the mid 1970's, when I started my law practice on the Chicago North Shore. She was an inspiration to both me and my wife Ellen, with her cheerful and fun-loving disposition.

Meeting Kixie was one of the highlights of working at Harris Bank. Since moving to Florida 10 years ago, Kixie never missed a Birthday or Holiday greeting. I was fortunate to see her on most trips to Chicago and occasionally in Miami. Her humor, mischievous smile and spirit are gifts I will carry always.
