I still remember Mrs. Dohse's warmth and kindness in welcoming me to the family home to visit with Isa in January 1987. She was a joy to behold, and it gives me great comfort to know that she lives in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.

I REMEBER DRIVING ONE OF THE BOYS HOME FROM SCHOOL AND THE RADIO WAS PLAYING THE LOUD MUSIC OF THE DAY. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A TREAT BECAUSE HIS MOTHER ALWAYS PLAYED CLASSICAL MUSIC IN THE CAR WHEN SHE WAS DRIVING. WHAT A SMART LADY TO TRY AND MAKE SURE HER CHILDREN GREW UP WITH A SEMBELANCE OF CULTURE IN THEIR BACKGROUND.
ALTHOUGH I DID NOT KNOW MARY KAY WELL I KNEW HER ENOUGH THOUGH HER CHILDREN TO KNOW SHE WAS A LOVING MOTHER AND WIFE. SHE EVIDENTLY COMPLETED HER MISSION ON EARTH BUT SHE WILL BE MISSED.

Family. My family grew up with the Deeley family at our house at 38 N. Lockwood in the Austin neighberhood in Chicago. They were a fine family.
They lived upstairs & we lived in the first floor flat. Just sharing some memories.
