Dear Dee, Denny, Tim, Cindy, Mike, Pat, Kevin, Marty, Joe, Ed, Gerry and Matt,

We have all learned a lot about family, love and loyalty from all of you over the years. You have honored your parents so well. Grief is the second to the last gift to them; living well is the last gift!

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. From the stories I heard, she was a fantastic woman who raised a loving and supportive family. I will keep her in my prayers.

Many years ago I coopted the title of the 13th Doherty child. I couldn't have picked a better family to adopt! Mom and Dad welcomed me, as well as many others, with open arms. My life has been blessed and I am very grateful for their love. They are at peace and together, of that I am sure!

Gerry and Geri Ann,
Your mother/mother-in-law was a lovely lady. I remember her coming to your engagement party at our house, seeing her at your father's wake with all her sons and daughters lined up next to her, and talking to her at your sister Cindy's house after the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk.
49 grandchildren and 39 great-grandcildren -- Wow! I'm sure God has a special place of honor all ready for her. May your happy memories of your Mom ease your sorrow in the days to come.
