Mary Bonkowski Obituary

Bonkowski, Mary Age 97, of Custer Park, IL and formerly of Chicago, passed away February 5, 2019. Born April 16, 1921 in Chicago, Mary was a daughter of the late Karl and Caroline Fruestick; wife of the late Edward H. Bonkowski; mother of Donald (Flo) Bonkowski of KY, Beverly (Robert J.) Kuryga of Custer Park and the late Shirley and George Stubblefield, and sister to Joseph, Honnie and Theresa. She is also survived by several grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Mary was employed with A&P Foods until her retirement, and then went on to work as a housekeeper for various clients on the Gold Coast. Visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E. Kahler Rd. in Wilmington.
