Dear David, only recently we have learnt of the death of your mother and our cousin Mary V. Batinich nee Lopac, and we are sending you our deep sympathies. Please express our condolences to your father, brothers , uncles and to your whole family. We did not have the opportunity to meet any of them, but our uncle and your grandfather George (Jure) (brother of our late father Mile), who visited us in Zagreb in 1957, was proudly talking of his wife Sophia and of his five children. During all these decades, our thougths had been with you many times, and especially so they are now, in this time of grief. Yours sincerely Tomislav Lopac (69) with wife Vjera, son Berislav, daugther Iva, grandson Gaj Zvonimir, daugther in law Tamara and son in law Viktor Butorac; Ivan Lopac (80) with wife Olga, daugther Maja, granddaugther Ana and son in law Richard Babajko
