Dear Marilyn, Rory, Cindy, and Family,

Today was a sad day for me too. I am so sorry that I did not have the chance to say goodbye to Marvin. I did have Marvin going for a while and he did believe me. Too bad that I could not see him or talk to him but I know that he is at peace now and we will miss him deeply.

All of our Love,

Joyce and Jerry

He was a Chicago original; they don't make them like that anymore. It will be a quieter, less interesting world without you, Marv. We will miss you very much.

I just happened to glance at the obituaries today and saw Marvin Zaks name and it saddened me. I really enjoyed the times we had together on the baseball field and as friends. I admired Coach Zaks and your entire family. I just wanted to send my heartfelt condolences. I remember lots of fun times and have good memories. My best to the entire family. Dear Marilyn, Cindy, Rory, and family,

I am so sorry about your loss. Marvin was such a wonderful friend to my parents. Marilyn, I can think back about some wonderful times the four of you shared and those memories make me smile. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and friend. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you. Love, Cheryl
