Simon, Marveen J. age 57, retired Chicago Public School Teacher devoted daughter of Pearl and the late Sam, sister of Jack (Nedra), cherished cousin of Bette (nee Beer) (Stuart), Jessica and David Zindell, and Sandy Smolinsky. She will be dearly missed by her many life long friends. Graveside service Monday, 10 a.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand & Wilke Roads, Arlington Heights. Contributions to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 4709 W. Golf Rd., Skokie, 60076. I will miss Marveen. We worked together at Hearst School. She always had a witty comment ready to make me feel better...even on "bad hair" days!!! She was a dedicated teacher and cared deeply for her students, staff, and friends.
