Rosenthal, Marshall age 83, decorated WWII Veteran. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Bender), cherished father of Lynn (Scott) Mayer and Joy Schweizer, cherished grandfather of Marissa and Jenny Mayer, dear brother of Betty (Marvin) Hoffing, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Graduated from Sullivan H.S., the University of Illinois and the University of Chicago with graduate degree, enlisted in Army in 1942 and trained in England and Scotland; landed in Normandy on D-Day, H-Hour, and fought in 5 major battles. Graveside services Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Westlawn Cemetery (Carnation Sec.), 7801 W. Montrose, Norridge, IL. Remembrances may be made to Keshet, 617 Landwehr, Northbrook, IL 60062.
