Marshall Goldberg Obituary
Goldberg, Marshall 88, an All American Athlete at University of Pittsburgh and All-Pro Chicago Cardinals, Half-Back and Full-Back formerly of the National Football League. Dearly beloved husband, Rita (nee Berger), devoted father of Marshall (Kathy) Gavin and Ellen (Loyd) Tullos, loving grandfather of Diane (Doug) Elliston and Laura Gavin, great-grandfather of Alexandra Robinson, Jack, Charlotte and Mara Elliston, dear brother of the late Isadore (the late Hazel), George, Victor and William D. Goldberg, brother-in-law, Helen and Roe Goldberg, adoring uncle of many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Private Graveside service will be held on Friday. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions in Marshall's name to Brain Injury Research, Attn: Marilyn F. Krause, MD, MC 913, Department Psychiatry and Neurology, University of Illinois, 912 S.
