Marsha Silverstein Obituary

Dear Bob,
I just heard today about Marsha's passing. Barry and I send our deepest condolences. I remember her so well from our days together in Champaign and then again more recently through our mutual friends.I will always remember her as a very special person.

I feel special and fortunate for having known Marsha with her bright smile, her verve and vitality and sweet, happy disposition and her strong ability to reach out in a loving manner to both those she knew well and those she only recently met or knew casually. May the thousands of memories she created with you be a source of comfort to you now and throughout your lives.

Even though we knew Marsha was sick we were still deeply saddened by the new of her death. After being married as long as the two of you were there will, of course be some difficult times ahead for you and hopefully, before long, you will remember all the good time you had together and be able to smile about them.

I was lucky enough to have Marsha as my fifth grade teacher many years ago. I was even more fortunate enough to be reunited several months ago. She still had the same wonderful smile and warm heart she had back in 1969. The world has lost a very special woman. My deepest sympathy to the entire Silverstein Family.

Marsha lived life to its fullest! She was creative, loving, energetic and giving of herself to others. She faced death with acceptance and died with dignity. She will be missed by us all.
