Marlene Steinkirchner Obituary

Marlene F. Steinkirchner (nee Durick), age 57, of North Tonawanda, July 2, 2008 in Niagara Hospice House after a brief illness. Marlene worked for 12 years as a personal care aid for Staff Builders. She was a member of the American Legion Sikora Post and she enjoyed gardening. She was the wife of the late James Steinkirchner; beloved sister of Joan (late Frank) Sabo and Joyce (late Gerald) Fitzgerald, both of North Tonawanda; aunt of Mark and David Fitzgerald, Amy Witt and Stephen Sabo. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM from St. Amelia R. C. Church, 2999 Eggert Dr. in Tonawanda. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Guest register available at www.frettholdfuneralhome.com.
