Dear George, We only met you once when you and Marlene came to our house. We were so sorry to hear about Marlene's death. We loved her a lot. She was our favorite aunt-in-law. We look forward to seeing her again on a Paradise earth. That's a Bible promise. Love

My Aunt was much more like a second mother to me and my family. I grieve her passing, but consider myself lucky to have known her so well. We will continue to gather family and friends in her honor for our regular "Sizzler" gathering. Love Always

I have to share one more memory. When we lived in Montana and Auntie had all of us over for "boiled cabbage" and ham, all of us kids just hated boiled cabbage. She dished us up some anyway and sent us on the front porch to eat. There were little holes in the porch so we poked all of our cabbage through those holes and just ate the ham. We didn't tell her until years later!!!

Marlene was my Auntie and what an Auntie she was. She could laugh, cry, party with the best of us. My favorite memories are of watching her and my dad (her brother Jack) dance the two step. They were both tall and danced together perfectly. She taught her little brother well.
There wasn't a mean bone in Auntie's body. She sometimes threatened but never followed through. Even though she never birthed any of her own children, she raised many. She was a very special woman and I will miss her always.
Love you auntie,
Shelli
