Dear Marshall,
My sincere condolences on your loss. Mark as a young boy was funny and silly and he and David made us laugh. When I think of Mark it brings a huge smile. Sincerely, Suzy

There are no words to describe the sadness and loss now that you're gone. You were truly a loyal and caring friend. You taught me politics, a love of the Chicago Bears, and to always pursue what made me happy. Life will not be the same without you. It was an honor to be called your friend.
My deepest sympathies to his family. I know no words will ever be enough to comprehend your loss.

How do I find the words. I met Mark in the Fall of 1987 back in college. Nearly 20 years of close friendship. I will remember him for his political/historic humor, love for Akira, a zest for insanely spicy food, cheeseburgers, "chi chi" restaurants, Madden Football, love of the BEARS and valuing his friendships. This is large void, as he touched so many lives. I will miss my friend, my brother. Safe passage and good journey, we will meet again someday.
Love,
Robert Acheatel

As the aunt of Mark's fiance, I knew him through Carrie's fine opinion of him and love for him. I am saddened beyond speech at the tragedy of his sudden passing and offer my sincerest condolences to his family, to my niece and to all of his friends. He will be missed.

I am Carrie Moaty's mother and I truly mourn with you. I knew Mark personally and especially through the loving eyes of my daughter, Carrie. What a wonderful man he was and how Carrie and the boys will miss him! I am so sad for all of you, the future that was to be and my daughter's broken heart. May time bring us all closure and help us to accept.

The world lost a great mind and heart in Mark's passing. My sincere sympathies to his family and loved ones, and the planet at large who will miss out on his outlook, wit and intelligence.
