Mark Weber Obituary
Father Mark Weber, SVD passed away on December 14, 2022. Loving son of the late Francis and Mary (Koopmann) Weber. The Mass of Resurrection will be on December 20, at 10:00 a.m. at the Divine Word International (Techny Towers), 2001 Waukegan Rd., Techny, IL, 60082. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Techny. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Fr. Mark Weber's name for Our Lady of Africa Parish/Food Pantry, c/o 615 E. Oakwood Blvd., Chicago, IL, 60653. Arrangements by N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home 847-998-1020.

I assisted Fr. Mark at The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at SS Monica and Luke in Gary for about nine month before the pandemic started. He was a kind and generous Priest. Who genuinely cared for the people he ministered too. I learned many things from him and my diaconal ministry was greatly enriched by my time in service with Fr. Mark. May my dear friend, rest in the peace of Christ whom he loved and served for so many years. Deacon Martin J. Brown

Mark was a high school classmate of mine. He was a very warm and caring individual. Mark always thought of other before himself. Gif gains a great soul, but we lost a golden treasure. R. I. P. Mark, a life well lived!

Fr. Mark was a classmate of mine from our elementary days at Xavier to our high school years at Beckman Catholic. The Class of '72 was so fortunate to have Fr. Mark celebrate our 50th Class Reunion Mass this past June. It was a beautiful weekend. So happy Fr. Mark was a part of our celebration. Rest in Peace Fr. Mark. Your classmates will not forget the love and dedication you gave to all people of the world.
