Mark was my guitar teacher way back in 1974. He was talented, smart and dedicated. His exuberant love of music was infectious. I will miss his brilliance.

At this time, I just want to say how great it was to see how much Mark meant to so many people. He was such a caring, and great person and a great brother-in-law. He had a beautiful service and I know he is in a better place, free from pain and suffering. Mark we will miss and love you always....

I'm sorry I couldn't make the wake or funeral. I've missed the long conversations with Mark since our days of hanging out till closing at The Balloon. I just put up a selections of my MPG music at Amazon under the title of Contradiction that I'm sure Mark would have loved to hear. I know all of the guys who hung out with Mark will miss him and his guitar playing.

Whose going to cacluate math for me now? Heaven certainly gained another angel. God bless all of you and may he hold you in the palm of his hands as you mourn the loss of such a wonderful man. I know he is smiling down on his family and friends as he picks up his favorite guitar.

Mark was guitar players' guitar player. In high school I could only look on in awe, not only because of his prowess, but his unassuming manner. No ego at all, just the pure joy of creating music. Play on Mark, wherever you are.

Mark was my dearest boyhood friend growing up together in Chicago. He had a superb sense of humor and was the most honest, open friend that I had at that time. I am sure his current friends and family will miss him dearly. I will remember him fondly.
Calm sea and prosperous voyage.

Mark was a kind and loving person all of his life. He was a true gentleman and the greatest guitarist that I have ever played in a band with. Music for me will not be the same. Carol and I will miss his visits to Arizona. He will be in our hearts forever.
